NBA radio analyst criticizes Taylor Swift at Knicks Game 4
New York Knicks radio analyst Monica McNutt was recorded making a remark about Taylor Swift while the pop star sat courtside at Game 4 of the NBA Finals. A viral clip shows McNutt and fellow announcer Tyler Murray apparently unaware they were still on the air as they talked about Swift, who attended with Alana and Este Haim.
McNutt asked, “Is that Taylor Swift down there?” and, pointing to Swift’s “long ponytail” and blue outfit, said, “She’s not a Knicks fan. Get out of here, girl.” Murray initially said he didn’t think Swift was there and then pulled out his phone to take a photo of her for his wife.
Swift watched the Knicks’ 107-106 victory over the San Antonio Spurs from the front row and celebrated on the court with friends including two Haim sisters, Mariska Hargitay, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor. She wore a custom “Stevie Knicks” shirt, Area jeans and chain-trimmed Versace heels, and later shared a post-game embrace with Kylie Jenner.
