NASA hosts SpaceX Crew-11 astronauts for public event
NASA will host a public event featuring three Crew-11 astronauts at 11 a.m. EDT Monday, June 1, in the Webb Auditorium at NASA Headquarters in the Mary W. Jackson building, 300 E. Street SW in Washington. The appearance takes place during the crew’s standard postflight visit.
The speakers — NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke and JAXA astronaut Kimiya Yui — will discuss their 167-day mission aboard the International Space Station as part of Expedition 73/74. They conducted a wide range of science experiments aimed at benefiting life on Earth and advancing human exploration.
Crew-11 lifted off Aug. 1, 2025, from Launch Complex 39A and docked to the station Aug. 2. The three, joined by Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov, traveled nearly 71 million miles, completed more than 2,670 orbits and returned to Earth Jan. 15 with a splashdown off the coast of San Diego.
