Gamesradar reports MTG Lorwyn Eclipsed, a fey‑tinged Magic: The Gathering expansion revisiting the Lorwyn‑Shadowmoor plane, is due to launch on January 23, 2026. The set is a mainline release and will be legal in Standard and other formats: the main Lorwyn Eclipsed set (ECL) is usable in all formats, while the Commander (ECC) and Special Guests (SPG) sets can be used in Commander, Legacy and Vintage.

It will be available as physical cards and on MTG Arena, which receives the set on January 20, and official prerelease events run January 16–22, 2026. Mechanically the set emphasises duality, featuring vivid and blight themes, a significant role for double‑sided cards, and returning keywords such as persist and evoke.

Product offerings include boosters, two Commander decks, a new Draft Night box, boxed sets and Collector Boosters; alt‑art attention is reduced overall, though a serialized, individually numbered Bitterbloom Bearer by Rebecca Guay, borderless double‑sided art, and Special Guests woodcut‑effect cards (available only from Collector Boosters) are highlighted.
