MTG Fantastic Four Commander deck includes pricey Doctor Who reprint

Wizards of the Coast’s Weekly MTG livestream revealed the decklist for a Fantastic Four–themed Commander precon in the Marvel Super Heroes set. Among the new Marvel cards, the most notable reprint comes from the 2023 Doctor Who Commander decks: Quantum Misalignment, originally in the Paradox Power deck centered on the Thirteenth Doctor.

Quantum Misalignment is a mono blue sorcery that costs five mana, makes a copy of a target creature you control that isn’t legendary, and has Rebound. After it resolves you exile it and can cast it again at the start of your next upkeep, effectively letting you cast it twice.

The card can copy a legendary creature while sidestepping the legend rule, triggering enter-the-battlefield effects three times, which makes it potent in many builds. EDHREC data shows Quantum Misalignment appears in more than 9,000 Y'shtola, Night's Blessed decks.
