MSI Versa 300 Wireless 8K review
MSI's Versa 300 Wireless 8K is a compact mid-range gaming mouse with an all-black plastic chassis, textured sides and a lightweight 66g body. The materials feel dense and the large rubberised scroll wheel and textured grips are tactile and comfortable, but the overall styling comes across as a little generic and, at times, slightly cheap.
Inside sits a 26,000 DPI PixArt PAW3395 sensor and an 8000 Hz wireless polling rate, which together deliver responsive tracking and low latency in shooters; testing found it handled Counter-Strike 2 smoothly, with comfortable aiming DPI around 1600–3200. The mechanical Omron switches provide a firm, tactile click and are rated to 60 million actuations, though their longer travel may be slower than hybrid or optical options.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth, a 2.4 GHz receiver (which supports the 8000 Hz rate) and USB-C wired mode, and the underside has a cubby for the USB-A receiver and PTFE feet.
