At the Day of the Devs showcase during Summer Game Fest, indie developer Glee Cheese revealed Mr. Records, a rhythm-based musical adventure with a banger soundtrack. The studio behind Headbangers: Rhythm Royale and A Musical Story puts music at the centre of the experience.

Players step into the shoes of George, an elderly record shop manager who lives his customers' stories through the records he sells. Each disc opens a surreal, dream-like world inspired by moments from George's life, with tunes that swing from upbeat toe-tappers to scenes that can bring you to tears.

Between songs you run the shop—managing quirky customers, solving musical riddles, unlocking new stock and slowly transforming the space—while George's dog Buzz keeps him company and the bedroom above the shop offers quiet moments of reflection. Glee Cheese describes the "record shop setting is really inspiring as it gives us the freedom to explore a wide range of musical styles." The reveal suggests the soundtrack will range across funk, hip-hop and 80s pop.
