Minions & Monsters cast features Jeff Bridges, Allison Janney and more

Minions & Monsters is the third standalone chapter set before the Despicable Me films, sending an ancestral tribe of Minions to 1920s Hollywood where they invade studios during the Golden Age. Pierre Coffin directs and Brian Lynch wrote the screenplay; the film opens exclusively in theaters on July 1.

Pierre Coffin, who has voiced the Minions since Despicable Me (2010) and created the Minionese language, introduces new Minions James, Henry, Ed and Dick. Trey Parker voices Goomi, a Lovecraftian-inspired green creature accidentally conjured by Minions James and Henry.

Allison Janney returns to the Minion world as Olivia, a spirited museum tour guide who introduces the present-day frame. Christoph Waltz voices Max, a Hollywood director whose set is overtaken by the mischievous Minions, and Jeff Bridges plays studio-head brothers Frank and Elwood.
