Mina the Hollower has a robust set of modifiers you can toggle in the menu to change how the game plays. Using certain modifiers—specifically ones that make the game easier—will make you ineligible for achievements, so copy your save file into a second slot if you want to experiment.

There are 65 modifiers available before beating the game and over 200 after; they range from color palette swaps to making Mina invincible, and you can switch any of them on or off whenever you can pause. The menu sorts modifiers into lists for easier, harder, and a category simply labeled “Weird,” and those Weird options are especially fun.

You can burrow underground infinitely and move much faster, disable falling into pits and walk in the sky, or make enemies only attack if you attack first. Other tweaks include floatier or higher jumps, a screen shake whenever you hit an enemy, neon colors, or a palette change every time you change rooms.
