Mina the Hollower includes a secret ending, but what makes it noteworthy is how you unlock it. Yacht Club Games' Zelda-inspired action-adventure feels built for hidden surprises, yet accessing this ending requires a preposterously convoluted set of conditions catalogued by YouTuber ChickenSoup (via Polygon).

Rather than a list of heroic deeds, the unlock depends mostly on what you avoid. You must not do anything Lionel—the game's final boss—can accuse Mina of, including sealing the Duke in the crypt, defeating the Mock Moon boss, using the train at any time other than the first visit to Coltrane Peak, or harming another character.

You also cannot restore the Hollower Guild, view the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the start, get the fishing rod, or destroy lamps or candles. Those restrictions rule out most side quests and their rewards, making the mainline game much harder to complete.
