Christopher Nolan's adaptation of The Odyssey arrives this summer, but it will not be the only version. Michael Caine is leading a separate adaptation from ElevenLabs that uses an AI clone of the actor to narrate an audiobook. Caine licensed his likeness and voice to the company last year, and he is not set to appear in Nolan's film.

ElevenLabs released Caine's audiobook retelling of The Odyssey today, crafted entirely from assets in the company's library. The audiobook is said to be 13 hours long, with Caine serving as the narrator, and ElevenReader shared a teaser trailer on YouTube highlighting how well the audio captures his voice.

Dustin Blank, ElevenLabs' head of partnerships, stated: "Our version of it is another retelling of it that we think is really strong — it does justice. It has a cast of 20 characters, all from our voice library, and Michael Caine is a legend.
