Matt Damon revealed his rapper alter ego 'The Nomad'
During his June 9 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Matt Damon used an unexpected approach to promote Get Blue, an environmental campaign focused on bringing safe water to the world. He interrupted Jimmy Fallon's monologue, received a long standing ovation from the live audience and stood onstage in a blue hoodie looking surprised by the response.
Then he announced he wasn’t “Matt Damon” at all but a rapper called The Nomad. Fallon pointed out that the name is almost just “Damon” spelled backwards; Damon — or The Nomad — shrugged that it didn’t matter and said he was there to spread the word about Get Blue.
The bit turned into a short rap routine about safe water.
