Matt Brown’s brother Gabe seen talking to police in disappearance probe
Gabe, the brother of 'Alaskan Bush People' alum Matt Brown, was seen talking with police on Thursday at a Washington river location where an unidentified man is said to have gone missing. Gabe is one of the few family members who has maintained a relationship with Matt.
Matt’s younger brother Bear told his followers he had been told Matt 'took his own life,' though he said he couldn’t confirm that. Bear said Matt was 'seen in a river, at a river or close to a river' and later 'floating down the river.' The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office said a 911 caller reported speaking to a man sitting in the shallow Okanogan River, then turning away and turning back to find the man facedown and drifting away; a gun was later recovered from the area.
Matt was last seen a week ago in a nude livestream on YouTube in which he rambled, appeared to be drunk or high and carried what appeared to be a gun. Bear later said a body has not yet been found.
