Masters of the Universe post-credits scene teases She‑Ra; director on sequel
Masters of the Universe has arrived. Director Travis Knight's film blends heartfelt storytelling, epic sci-fi action, and striking practical and computer-generated visuals. A sequel is possible but unconfirmed. A lot is likely riding on the box office, which… isn't looking particularly promising at the moment.
Masters of the Universe 2 is "up to the world," Knight says. "If the world loves the movie, and they see it, and they demand more, and if our partners at Amazon decide they want to do more, it would be a joy to continue telling stories within this universe." He adds, "Making this movie has been one of the most joyful experiences of my entire career, and the idea of doing it again with this incredible group of people and this cast fills me with no small amount of delight.
But we'll see. We put everything we had into this movie, and if nothing else comes of it, I'm proud of it. I love the movie.
