Mason Greenwood's social activity strengthens Fenerbahce link

Mason Greenwood has intensified speculation about a move to Fenerbahce after interacting with the social media accounts of presidential candidate Hakan Safi. Safi has claimed an agreement is already in place for the Marseille forward, with Champions League football and a long-term contract reportedly part of the proposal.

Fabrizio Romano said Safi has made Greenwood a key part of his election campaign and announced a prepared deal that could be completed if he wins the vote. Safi stated: "We have reached an agreement with Mason Greenwood. This agreement is valid until June 2030 if I win the election." Romano also said Safi will bring in Luis Suarez from Sporting CP, though no transfer-fee agreement has been reached and a formal offer is unlikely until he is elected.

Greenwood's likes and follows of Safi's accounts have added fuel to the rumours, suggesting a mutual interest in a move to the Super Lig this summer.
