Marvel Star Discusses Possibility of MCU 'Midnight Sons' Movie

The MCU has gradually embraced its darker, supernatural side, moving beyond hints in the first Doctor Strange film to characters such as Moon Knight, Mephisto, Agatha Harkness and the horror-leaning special Werewolf by Night, which introduced Elsa Bloodstone and Man-Thing.

Those appearances revived talk of a Midnight Sons adaptation, since many of these characters were, at one point, members of the team in the comics. Laura Donnelly, who played Elsa Bloodstone in Werewolf by Night, said: "Oh, for sure. I mean, I love that, the opening up of that aspect of the MCU, that kind of monster horror universe that really appeals to me.

I would love to see Elsa and Jack [Russell a.k.a. Werewolf by Night, played by Gael García Bernal] kind of get drawn into that bigger world as a whole, because there are so many other characters to explore there, and I'd love to see them all come together, you know," she explained.
