I usually avoid on-ear headphones, but Marshall has me seriously reconsidering
The Marshall Milton ANC are an all‑new pair of on‑ear headphones that pack several over‑ear strengths into a more compact form. Positioned between Marshall’s Major and Monitor lines, they combine a leather‑textured finish and gold logo motif with foldable square earcups and a lightweight fit I found comfortable during long commutes in hot weather.
Controls are tactile: a multi‑directional brass button on the right handles power, volume and playback, while an M‑button on the left can toggle ANC, EQ, Soundstage or voice assistant and supports single‑ and double‑press actions. Marshall has also focused on longevity, giving the Milton ANC a user‑replaceable battery and twist‑and‑pull ear pads; a USB‑C‑to‑3.5mm cable is included, though the headphones must be powered on for wired use.
Glasses wearers may notice the clamping force after around 45–60 minutes. Inside are 32mm dynamic drivers and Bluetooth 6.0 with AAC, SBC, LC3 and LDAC support, along with Auracast compatibility in beta and multipoint connectivity.
