Mariska Hargitay says Knicks comeback topped her wedding night
Mariska Hargitay said the Knicks' stunning comeback in Game 4 of the NBA Finals might have outshone her wedding night with husband Peter Hermann. "I love my husband, and our wedding night was great and all, but I think it might have been the greatest night of my life," the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress told the Hollywood Reporter after the Knicks' 107-106 victory over the Spurs at Madison Square Garden.
A rep for Hermann was not immediately available for comment. Hargitay, 62, recounted the team clawing back from a 29-point halftime deficit, praising Jalen Brunson's intensity. She painted a vivid image of OG Anunoby "flying in, his orange and blue cape fluttering behind him," called the finish "pandemonium," and said the moment will "get replayed again and again." The superfan celebrated courtside in a matching "Stevie Knicks" shirt with longtime friend Taylor Swift and was pictured hugging Swift and the Haim sisters after the historic win.
