Mariska Hargitay & Jamie Lee Curtis Share Surprise Childhood Connection

Mariska Hargitay and Jamie Lee Curtis discovered they had been next-door neighbors as children in the same Los Angeles neighborhood. Both are the children of Hollywood stars: Curtis is the daughter of Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, and Hargitay's parents were Jayne Mansfield and Mickey Hargitay.

Curtis recalled a pink house on Sunset Boulevard that was once owned by Sonny and Cher and later purchased by Tony Curtis, and said "there is a photograph of us standing in the driveway." The actresses reconnected in 2023 after Hargitay began work on her My Mom Jayne documentary.

While at the Beverly Hills Hotel she mentioned to Amy Landecker that they used to live next door, and Landecker immediately put them back in touch.
