Margot Robbie's Hard R-Rated Thriller Officially Returns to Streaming
Margot Robbie's most scandalous R-rated film is returning to streaming. Thirteen years after its theatrical release, The Wolf of Wall Street will stream on Hulu on Jun. 1, the movie that helped propel Robbie to A-list status after her work with Martin Scorsese.
Based on the true story of former broker Jordan Belfort (played by Leonardo DiCaprio), Robbie portrays Naomi Lapaglia, Belfort’s second wife, who is closely tied to his illegal dealings and extravagant lifestyle. The film does not shy away from the illicit behavior that earned Belfort his reputation.
The Wolf of Wall Street was a big hit in 2013, holding a 79% Rotten Tomatoes score and an 83% audience score. It grossed $407 million, becoming Martin Scorsese’s highest-grossing movie to date despite its R-rating, and faced an 18 restriction in the UK. Alongside its newest streaming home, the film has also bounced around free platforms like Tubi and Pluto TV and often climbs the streaming charts.
