Marc Jacobs Beauty returns with new line and glowing early reviews

Marc Jacobs Beauty has returned after disappearing in 2021. Many editors admitted they clung to old bronzers and lipsticks from the previous line — despite wondering how hygienic that was — and the new launch gives them a chance to replace those well-worn favorites.

Marc Jacobs said, "I think about beauty the way I think about fashion: it’s an area for creativity and self-expression," adding that the new line "represents joy, and is a celebration of how we can use makeup to express ourselves." The relaunch pairs playful packaging with skin-care infused formulas: a daisy for complexion, a star for eyes and a heart for lips, with a heart balloon shape on the lipstick tip that editors have praised for its charm.

The hydrating, high-shine lipsticks promise long wear and come in 15 shades, from bright statement hues to a range of browns, pinks and mauves, while the collection overall emphasizes creamy, long-wearing textures.
