And that’s why it happened.” McCant posted that she left and asked Jessica for a divorce, saying there is “nothing bad to say about Jessie at all” and that the public scrutiny became too much. McCant noted that it was “what’s best for our daughter” and that growing up in the public eye “just isn’t what I want for her.” McCant is raising her niece Harper, and Jessica said she plans to keep in touch with the little one.
