Magic reveals four Japan-exclusive promos for the Planeswalker Series

Magic’s Japanese account on X revealed four new promo cards that will be distributed through the Planeswalker Series, an event that began last April and runs seasonal tournaments in Standard. The cards were illustrated by Japanese artists known for manga- and anime-inspired work, and they will be available only to participants in Japan.

From July 1 to September 30, participants will receive a Twitching Doll promo illustrated by Tomoyuki Mizufune, while the top prize will be The Wandering Rescuer with art by Hisashi Momose. Both of those cards originally appeared in Duskmourn: House of Horror. The October to December season offers Strategic Betrayal by Amayagido for entrants, with the top prize being Voice of Victory illustrated by Tokiwata — her debut Magic card.

Those two promos first debuted in Tarkir: Dragonstorm.
