Madonna told the Tribeca Festival premiere of her visual album "Confessions II" that she is open to touring to promote the project, but made clear a Las Vegas residency is not in her plans. During a post‑screening panel at New York City’s Beacon Theatre, moderator Anderson Cooper asked what’s next after the release of "Confessions II," prompting fans to urge her to hit the road.

When the possibility of a residency — specifically at the Sphere — came up, she shut it down. "The Sphere is cool, but I don’t want to wake up every morning and see Vegas," she said to applause, after an audience member shouted, "Never Vegas! Not Vegas!" Madonna replied, "I never said Vegas!" and joked, "I don’t know what that is." The 67‑year‑old sounded less certain about concrete touring plans but left the door open.

"I could go on tour … I never want to repeat myself," she said, and any future "Confessions II" run, the panel suggested, would likely need to meet the same creative standards before she commits.
