Luciane Buchanan Returns for The Night Agent Season 4

Deadline has confirmed that Luciane Buchanan will return to Netflix's The Night Agent for a fourth and final season. Buchanan originated the role of Rose Larkin across the first two seasons but did not appear in Season 3. How large a part Rose will play in the finale remains unclear.

Much of the criticism of Season 2 focused on how the character was woven into the story rather than on Buchanan’s performance. Buchanan had already explained her absence ahead of Season 3, telling Deadline in Sept. 2025, "As much as that show has been so amazing, especially for my career — being a lead on a U.S.

show from little New Zealand was such a whirlwind — the writers decided that they wanted to follow Peter and his journey based on what happened at the end of Season 2.
