Voting results from the first round of Season 8 of 'Love Island USA' remained unknown after the show's app glitched. Viewers were asked to use the app to choose partners for the three newest bombshells — Sol, Jen and Caleb — with votes due by 12 a.m. ET on Wednesday, but many encountered an error message and couldn't submit their picks.

The network extended the vote to 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT on Wednesday and said it was working to fix the problem. Hours later it posted on X that the app had crashed because of fans’ "overwhelming enthusiasm for America’s first vote." When Thursday's episode aired the vote totals were not revealed; host Ariana Madix did not come out to explain, and narrator Ian Stirling joked before saying the results were postponed until Friday.

Viewers reacted angrily on social media. One wrote, ''love island usa' app down???
