The Logitech G522 Lightspeed is now on sale at Amazon for $130. The headset is available in black or white, and both colourways include purple highlights. Reviewer James highlighted the detachable boom microphone as a major strength. He wrote that it is clear, picks up bass enough to offer a near radio-level sound, and that a quick adjustment in Logitech G Hub can make it sing — good enough to serve as a streaming microphone.

James noted the lack of a flip-to-mute on the mic arm but praised the left earcup mute button’s satisfying ping and red light that prevents accidental muting. He found the out-of-the-box sound “full and warm,” which he corrected with a bass boost in G Hub.
