Lloyd Blankfein, who left Goldman Sachs in 2018, told Sam Parr on the My First Million podcast that he has not been sitting on the sidelines. He outlined his investing approach and explained where he is putting his money and how he makes decisions. Blankfein said he is concentrating on three sectors: technology, energy, and financial services.

"I'm mostly and have been in tech and energy," he said, noting his background in trading energy, and adding that he knows financial services from his time in the industry. He also said he often trades stocks every day. Though he warned earlier this year that markets could face a "reckoning" and pointed to stress in private credit, he described his current portfolio as aggressive.

"I am 98% in risky assets," he said, and noted he trades a mix of single stocks and ETFs. He also still holds a significant amount of his Goldman Sachs stock. On tech, Blankfein said he owns most leading hyperscalers and their "second tier" competitors.
