Liverpool table €100m bid for Yan Diomande as PSG lag in race
Liverpool have lodged a formal €100m offer for RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande, aiming to move ahead of Paris Saint-Germain. Sky Sports outlines the package as a €90m guaranteed fee plus €10m in performance-related add-ons as the club looks to strengthen its attack.
Fabrizio Romano says RB Leipzig have rejected the opening proposal and are holding out for a higher figure, with €120m suggested as a potential benchmark. The German club are attempting to keep the 19-year-old by offering a salary increase and a contract extension that would include a release clause, and they expect other top clubs to join the race.
PSG have not yet submitted a formal bid and are waiting on Diomande to decide his preferred destination. The Athletic places PSG behind Liverpool on the personal terms available, leaving Liverpool in pole position while the club also considers alternatives should a deal prove unattainable.
