Little Devil Inside misses Summer Game Fest again, 11 years after Kickstarter

Little Devil Inside, first revealed on Kickstarter in April 2015 and spotlighted during Sony’s PlayStation 5 reveal stream, did not appear at this June’s Summer Game Fest or the other major showcases. The game has repeatedly promised release windows but has yet to arrive for players who first saw it early in the PS5 era.

The Kickstarter originally targeted a fall 2016 launch and even listed a Wii U stretch goal. A State of Play appearance in October 2021 gave the title a 2022 release window, and an Instagram post later that year narrowed that to winter 2022 — a date that passed without the game launching.

A February 2024 Kickstarter update titled “Despite all” apologized for delays, hinted at internal conflict, and closed with a six-minute Unreal Engine 5 look; an April 2024 update was the last posted to the campaign.
