Soccer star Lionel Messi’s family began long before his rise to global fame: he first met Antonela Roccuzzo as a child in Rosario and they reconnected in 2005. The couple welcomed their eldest son, Thiago, in 2012, followed by Mateo in 2015, and completed their family with Ciro in 2018.

Messi is once again captain of team Argentina at the 2026 World Cup, with his partner and three little ones cheering him on from the sidelines.
