Line of Fire centers on a family fully immersed in protective services, promising action-packed storylines and unexpected twists. First announced in May as part of a slate of new shows, it introduces characters who each serve in different branches of protective services.

The official synopsis says the drama follows "a family of law enforcement agents" as they bridge personal differences and cross professional boundaries while tackling cases for the FBI, US Marshals, Secret Service and Department of Justice. After a seemingly cut-and-dry case turns into a deadly conspiracy, they must use a lifetime of expertise to protect one another and bring a killer to justice, even if it means betraying their sworn code.
