Liam Rosenior is set to return to management with Ligue 1 side Paris FC after a spell out of work following his brief, difficult tenure at Stamford Bridge. His official unveiling was due this Wednesday, but L'Équipe suggests the confirmation has been pushed back to July 9.

Rosenior previously spent time in France with Strasbourg before moving to the Premier League, and he is expected to succeed Antoine Kombouare at the Stade Jean-Bouin as Paris FC seek a fresh direction after a season of relative stability in the top flight. Kombouare, who took over on 22 February, is likely to depart despite leading the club to an 11th-place finish and ending the campaign 12 points clear of the play-off spots.

Friction with the hierarchy, and stalled talks over an extension and pay rise, have reportedly widened the gap between him and the club.
