Lenovo's latest gaming laptop brings Brat to your backpack this summer
Lenovo is bringing its LOQ 15AHP11 gaming laptop to market in a bold "Surge" green finish this summer, abandoning the usual blacks, silvers and whites for a brighter look aimed at the brand's entry-level range. The LOQ pairs that distinctive exterior with a conservative spec sheet: an AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor, an RTX 5050 GPU, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
Its 15.6-inch display runs at 1200p with a 165Hz refresh rate and 300 nits of brightness. The RTX 5050 is positioned as a light mobile GPU for everyday use, able to handle lighter games comfortably at the laptop's FHD+ resolution. The LOQ is presented primarily as a versatile, budget-friendly option for students and everyday users rather than a top-tier gaming machine.
Lenovo plans to launch the Surge Green LOQ in mid-June at £1,579.99 in the UK, a price noted as higher than many 2025 models amid increased component costs tied to a RAM shortage.
