Kyle Cooke disputes Batula–Wilson timeline, says marriage ended when statement posted
Kyle Cooke said he and Amanda Batula ended their marriage the same day they issued a joint separation statement, casting doubt on Batula’s timeline with West Wilson. He told the Season 10 reunion they did not discuss ending the marriage until they sat down to write the statement on January 19 and that Batula urged him to post it before he could tell his family.
Batula acknowledged Cooke’s account, saying she had “already made up [her] mind” about separating on New Year’s Day. The reunion also revealed the final straw came on New Year’s Day when one of them woke to find the other had slept at a hotel while she had spent the night alone in their apartment.
Co-star Ciara Miller said she saw Batula’s iPhone location at Wilson’s apartment on January 17, two days before the statement, and later read a text exchange that undermined Batula’s explanations.
