The KTC M27T6S is a 27-inch 2,560 x 1,440 IPS panel with a 200 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms MPRT response and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. It uses 1,152 mini-LED dimming zones to reach up to 1,000 nits, and is pitched at a budget price of $289.99 (about £275). Connectivity includes DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports (the HDMI inputs top out at 144 Hz), and there is no USB-C single-cable option or USB hub.

The reviewer came into this sceptical about mini-LED but found KTC’s dimming algorithm unusually effective. The monitor avoids obvious “zone popping,” handles HDR video like a fireworks torture test well, and produces genuinely blinding highlights in bright game scenes such as those in Cyberpunk 2077.

That said, some light bleed and blooming remain and you can still see where zones are working hardest. Build and ergonomics are solid: a versatile stand that pivots into portrait, slim bezels, and a mostly plastic construction that doesn’t feel cheap.
