The Kennedy Space Center Master Plan is a long-range planning framework that guides how land, infrastructure, and facilities should evolve to support future missions. It does not dictate exactly what will be built or when; instead, it sets strategic priorities, identifies potential development areas, and helps decision-makers evaluate investments as mission needs change.

The plan was updated to reflect rapid change since the previous Center Master Plan, last revised in 2014. The updated 2025 Master Plan aligns with current agency goals and outlines strategies for how KSC and commercial partners can continue to leverage each other’s strengths, positioning the Center to adapt responsibly to future growth.

It looks 20 years ahead, allowing planners to anticipate mission needs, emerging technologies, and industry growth while making development decisions incrementally based on funding, mission requirements, environmental considerations, and demand.
