Kristen Doute and fiancé Luke Broderick have put wedding planning on hold as they settle into life with their daughter, Kaia Lily, who was born in June 2025. Broderick told Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea" that parenthood has shifted their priorities: "Having a kid, you’re finding a whole new identity," and "I think rushing into having a wedding right now is the wrong move." The couple has discussed ideas but, Broderick said, "No planning has been done.

No planning has happened." He mentioned visiting Nashville to look at venues as a possible first step, but emphasized it remains in the talking phase and "it’s not on the calendar." Doute and Broderick became engaged in September 2024 after less than two years of dating and announced they were expecting not long after.

Doute first gained fame on "Vanderpump Rules," and both now have full-time roles on "The Valley," which is in its third season. For now, the pair are focused on adjusting to parenthood before adding wedding stress into the mix. "The Valley" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
