Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 hits six million sales in a year and four months
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has sold over six million copies a year and four months after launch, Warhorse Studios announced on Twitter. The studio thanked the community in the post, writing: "6 million Henrys. An achievement we couldn't have reached alone."
The game reached three million sales within its first three months, buoyed by strong reviews and a notably passionate fanbase. That early momentum helped push the title to its current total.
This places the sequel more than halfway toward matching the original's lifetime sales; Kingdom Come: Deliverance, released in 2018, had sold over 10 million copies in its first seven years.
Warhorse has also confirmed it is working on a "new Kingdom Come adventure" and on a new open-world Lord of the Rings RPG, and the studio previously raised $65,000 to help preserve the real-life medieval castle that served as Henry's homebase in the first game.
