Kindle Prime Day deals worth buying, plus accessories

An avid reader who describes herself as book-loving, plant-hoarding and a habitual knitter says she eagerly awaits Prime Day, when Amazon typically discounts its own devices and accessory makers follow suit. This year’s event brings notable markdowns on Kindle e-readers and a wide range of add-ons.

Prime Day runs June 23 through June 26, 2026, and Amazon is highlighting several Kindle models. The base model Kindle is on offer for $85 (23% off), the Kindle Paperwhite is $125 (22% off), and the Kindle Colorsoft is priced at $160 (36% off). A page-turning device is also discounted to $15 (24% off).

Books and subscriptions are part of the savings as well. Kindle and hardcover titles can be found for as little as $1, and Amazon is offering three months free of Kindle Unlimited, three months free plus a $20 credit on Audible, and triple Kindle book points on select purchases.
