Kevin Smith's Masters of the Universe Reboot Is a Must-Watch

This week marks the release of Masters of the Universe, the big-budget adaptation of the toy line and the animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Before the film, Kevin Smith delivered a critically acclaimed reboot on Netflix: Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 1 debuted in July 2021, Part 2 followed in November 2021, and Masters of the Universe: Revolution arrived in January 2024.

The three seasons averaged 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. Revelation and Revolution work as sequels to the original show while remaining accessible to new viewers.
