Kennedys move in to help raise Tatiana Schlossberg’s children
Caroline Kennedy and her husband, Ed Schlossberg, have moved into the apartment of Tatiana Schlossberg’s widower, Dr. George Moran, to help raise the couple’s two children, son Edwin, 4, and daughter Josephine, 2. Their son Jack said the pair are “playing the role of new parents right now,” and that they live together while taking care of the children every day.
Tatiana died in December 2025 at age 35 after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia. She married Moran, a urologist, in 2017 after meeting at Yale University. In November, Tatiana shared her diagnosis in an essay for the New Yorker, writing that she was diagnosed in May 2024 and given only a year to live.
She praised Moran for doing everything he could — “He talked to all the doctors and insurance people that I didn’t want to talk to; he slept on the floor of the hospital” — and reflected on what her children might remember of her.
