Keanu Reeves to Star in Hidari, a Samurai Epic Called "John Wick on Steroids"

Keanu Reeves will lead Hidari, a new samurai action film that has been described as "John Wick on steroids." Reeves, who rose to fame in films such as Speed, Point Break, The Matrix and John Wick, will play a young master carpenter pulled into a ruthless conspiracy while working on the reconstruction of Edo Castle.

The carpenter loses his mentor, his fiance9e and his right arm, and the story of revenge is being told through stop-motion wooden puppets.
