Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau began dating in July 2025. Perry ended up back at Trudeau’s Montreal home after their first date, and they have been inseparable since. They were first photographed together that month at the restaurant Le Violon. Perry was touring in Canada at the time.

One of the main ways they connected was Justin’s team requesting tickets to her concerts and arranging a meet-and-greet for his daughter, Ella-Grace, who is a big fan.
