Kanye West spent nearly $400,000 on Versailles masquerade party
Nearly $400,000 was spent on a masquerade-themed birthday at the Château de Versailles in France, a photo agency reported. The Grammy winner, who turned 49 on June 8, and his wife Bianca Censori hosted more than 20 friends at the historic palace and later continued the celebration at the nearby Airelles luxury hotel.
West dressed all in black for the occasion, wearing a face mask, jacket, leather pants, boots and leather gloves. Censori wore a cream-colored satin corseted bodysuit and a matching skirt with structured support; at times her face was hidden beneath a feathered headpiece and she finished the look with satin wedge heels.
Guests wore similar attire, with some choosing animal masks instead of traditional masquerade styles. Censori shared photos and a video to her Instagram Stories, captioning one post, "Happy birthday @ye. I Iove you more than life," and calling West her "ride or die 4ever." The couple also stepped out to the Ciel Bleu French restaurant in Amsterdam during the birthday weekend.
