Kane Brown 'just glad I'm here' after being hit by golf ball
Country star Kane Brown says he is grateful to be alive after a golf ball struck his ear. He posted an Instagram Story that read “Shot in the head by a golf ball,” alongside photos showing a split, stitched ear; one image included the caption “Just a scratch.” On TikTok he showed the stitches and quipped, “23 stitches later, and a slight concussion,” adding he was “at Chick‑Fil‑A” and warning that “they said it will prob get worse next 48 hours but I’m alive and that’s all that matters … holy crap.” In a longer clip he began “Story time,” noted blood on his collar and explained he “got hit in the ear with a golf ball,” saying the shot came from “my own buddy” who “feels terrible.” He went to the hospital and “had everything checked out.” Brown said the ball was “about a 150 to 180 mile an hour ball, a three‑wood slice,” and that his ear was “technically the best possible place” for it to hit.
