Kagurabachi world tour to screen first episode at four conventions
Kagurabachi’s anime will debut on TV in April 2027, but the series will premiere its first episode early on a world tour that screens roughly the first 20 minutes at conventions this summer. The manga, which launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2023, drew intense fan interest that helped spur the adaptation.
The tour opens at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 3, then moves to Japan Expo Paris on July 9. It continues at AnimagiC in Mannheim, Germany, on August 1 and concludes at Anime NYC in New York on August 22. Panels at those events will feature lead voice actor Taihi Kimura (Chihiro Rokuhira), manga editor Takuro Imamura, cross-media producer Riki Azuma and anime producer Koichi Yasuda; full details are on the Kagurabachi World Tour official website.
Produced by Cypic studios, Kagurabachi is described as a "neo-Japanese sword action series" that blends gritty sword fights with surprising magic.
