Kagurabachi anime gets first main character trailer and visual
The anime adaptation of Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi has released its first character visual and a trailer for protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira ahead of an April 2027 premiere. Kagurabachi is a revenge story: after a group of elite sorcerers kills Chihiro's father and steals six enchanted swords he created, the young man sets out to reclaim the blades.
The manga began in 2023 in Weekly Shonen Jump, has been compiled into 11 volumes and has 4 million copies in circulation, and its early meme-driven hype has since (mostly) turned perceptions around. Cypic (formerly CygamesPictures) is adapting the anime. The studio’s credits include The Summer Hikaru Died, Umamusume: Cinderella Gray, originals such as Apocalypse Hotel and Brave Bang Bravern, and the recent film Umamusume: Pretty Derby — Beginning of a New Era, which features notably spectacular animation.
