Julia Roberts' 19-year-old son towers over her in NYC

Julia Roberts was seen in New York City with two of her three children on Friday, outside the Jane Hotel the day after her son Henry's 19th birthday. Henry stood head and shoulders above her as she chatted with family, wearing what appeared to be a black suit and a string of pearls and carrying a pair of glasses.

At one point she wrapped her arm around his waist as they walked. The group also included daughter Hazel and Roberts' hair stylist Serge Normant; absent were Hazel's twin brother Phinnaeus and Roberts' husband, cinematographer Danny Moder. Henry is the youngest of the three and attends the Pratt Institute in Manhattan; Hazel, who is 21, studies at Trinity College Dublin.

Roberts has shared rare family posts before, posting a throwback to mark the twins' 21st birthday with the caption, "These game changers, life alterers, [heart] expanders once were 1 and now are 21! That was fast." In May 2025 Moder posted a Mother's Day photo of the grown children with the caption, "Mothers make the coolest stuff.
