Jujutsu Kaisen goes Vampire Survivors in a new Nintendo Switch 2 game

Poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors, unveiled Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation during Nintendo Direct — a new survivor-style, arena-fighting battle royale set in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen that lets players control familiar sorcerers. The project is Poncle's first official anime collaboration and marks a shift away from the arena fighters and action brawlers that have commonly defined anime game adaptations.

Rather than a straight fighting game, the title draws on the escalating power and overwhelming-horde gameplay that helped make Vampire Survivors a global indie sensation. Poncle revealed "Survivation" in early June as the banner for a lineup of survivor-style projects and collaborations, framing it as an initiative to explore larger genre twists and standalone experiences beyond Vampire Survivors itself.

Players will be able to take control of characters such as Yuji Itadori, Satoru Gojo, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki as they battle waves of cursed spirits.
