Meet Josh Goodman, Voice of Surviving Earth

Surviving Earth opens with a commanding narration supplied by Josh Goodman. "This is the story of life on Earth shaped by catastrophic events, where creatures of every kind have always had to find a way to survive," the narrator says, adding that the eight-part series spans "millions of years where every moment is a fight, every survival hard won, and against all odds life prevails." Goodman brings over 25 years of experience in radio and voice acting.

His bio notes promotional work for HBO Sports, narration credits on Animal Planet, Travel Channel and National Geographic Channel, and voice work in TV campaigns for Chipotle and Chevrolet. The bio describes his voice as "distinct — highly professional and impactful, yet surprisingly fresh and youthful," and it notes he began in radio in 1987 as an On-Air Personality at WQQY in Saratoga Springs, New York; he currently lives in Denver, Colorado.
